Rottweilers

The Rottweilers are the working dogs here on the farm.

They have the opportunity to run on our trails daily and hone their sheepherding skills working the flock of sheep each day. Work on stock goes on year round here and the Rottweilers are an important part of the picture of maintaining our flock of sheep.

We work on different skills for each aspect of their training, from focus to course work it is a gradual process.

Grandma Fatey is a great example of breed type and working ability. She continued to work stock at age eleven.
