Pinkie got her name as a tiny puppy with pink yarn around her neck. We kept her and her name stayed with her. Pinkie finished her Championship quickly including three majors and has demonstrated great herding interest and ability. She and her dam Fatey are our strongest working dogs on sheep.
Pinkie has a strong willingness to work, drive, focus, stamina and a dependable work ethic on stock. She is trustworthy with young lambs as well as elderly ewes, a fine quality in a working dog.
At 10.75 years of age, here she is after earning a BEST Veteran in Show with respected Judge Peter Green.
With great sadness, I said goodbye to Ms Pink on November 15, 2014. First time in 26 years without a big black buddy. She was the first puppy to be born in Fatey’s 2002 litter of nine and the last to leave. Run hard and run free Pinkie, till we meet again.
